Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $488.1 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to remanufacture 38 helicopters for the U.K. army and acquire three crew trainers along with associated spares as part of a foreign military sales agreement.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the modification covers remanufacturing of 38 AH-64 Apache aircraft as well as the provision of three Longbow crew trainers to the U.K. military.
The Army Contracting Command obligated the full amount of the modification from fiscal 2010 “other” funds at the time of award.
Boeing will perform work in Mesa, Arizona, through May 31, 2024.
