Bell Books $557M Navy Contract for H-1 Helicopter Repair, Logistics Support

Textron’s Bell subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $557 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide spares, repair and logistics support for rotors and drive components of the service branch’s H-1 light attack helicopter fleet.

The Department of Defense said Thursday work will occur in Fort Worth, Texas, and Cherry Point, North Carolina, through December 2029.

Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia will obligate $139.2 million in working capital funds for the delivery order to be issued under the firm-fixed-price contract.

In September 2022, Bell Textron secured a Navy contract worth approximately $228 million to implement hardware and software updates to the service’s H-1 aircraft.
