A Bechtel subsidiary will continue to supply naval nuclear propulsion components to the U.S. Navy under a $95.2M contract option.
Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. will perform 94 percent of work in Monroeville, Pa., and the remaining six percent in Schenectady, N.Y., the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The Navy will obligate the full amount of the exercised option from its fiscal 2019 shipbuilding and conversion funds.
