BAE Systems has received a potential $437M task order under the General Services Administrations One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract to provide open source support services for the U.S. Army.
The task order calls for BAE to offer data-derived open source support to Army Intelligence and Security Command as well as training, assessment, governance recommendations, implementation of emerging capabilities and policy support, the company said Tuesday.

Jungck added the companys open source platform is designed to deliver information to mission-critical initiatives amid the increasing volume of open source data and evolving threats.
The company will also set up and oversee a cloud hosting environment under the task order.
