BAE Systems has received a potential $437M task order under the General Services Administration™s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract to provide open source support services for the U.S. Army.
The task order calls for BAE to offer data-derived open source support to Army Intelligence and Security Command as well as training, assessment, governance recommendations, implementation of emerging capabilities and policy support, the company said Tuesday.
œWe™re proud to continue to partner with the U.S. Army and support their critical national security missions with this new capability, said Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of BAE™s intelligence solutions business.
Jungck added the company™s open source platform is designed to deliver information to mission-critical initiatives amid the increasing volume of open source data and evolving threats.
The company will also set up and oversee a cloud hosting environment under the task order.
