BAE Systems has expanded its modeling and simulation solutions business with the addition of Topaz Intelligence, a custom intelligence services provider acquired through its Ball Aerospace acquisition in February.
Under the integration, BAE Systems said Thursday it will work with Topaz Intelligence to market intelligence-as-a-service offerings to boost the agile decision-making processes of customers.
The M&SS division caters to military clients, offering wargaming capabilities and operational readiness planning within the intelligence and security sector.
Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of modeling and simulation solutions at BAE Systems, commented, “This pairing strengthens and expands our offerings with the Topaz Intelligence team’s ability to transform volumes of disparate data points into trends, insights, outcomes and decisions.”
