Axient, formerly known as QuantiTech, has secured a contract to provide system maintenance support and other technical services to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command.
The company said Wednesday it will assist AMCOM G-3 personnel to analyze data and gaps, assess risks and perform sustainment and systems engineering work to help the command ensure the operational readiness of Army aircraft and missiles.
AMCOM will receive assistance in the areas of predictive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, sustainment analysis, corrosion control, item unique identification and stored supply care.
The contract also includes support for the Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation and Maintenance Consolidated Database System.
Huntsville, Alabama-based Axient is backed by private equity firm Sagewind Capital and adopted its current name in June.
