The U.S. Army has awarded 17 companies positions on the potential five-year, $5 billion Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 3 Hardware contract vehicle.
The multiple-award contract covers commercial software, hardware and related enterprise-level, incidental support services for the service branch, Defense Department and other federal agencies, DoD said Monday.
The Army Contracting Command awarded the firm-fixed-price contract through a competitive acquisition with 50 proposals received.
The contractors are scheduled to complete work through Feb. 21, 2021, once the military branch exercises all options, according to DoD.
The service branch will obligate funds and performance location upon award of each task order.

The ITES-3H contract is a follow-on to the ITES-2H indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers the purchase of storage network systems, commercial servers, network printers, video equipment and support services such as installation, image loading, systems configuration and data migration.
ITES-2H contract awardees were Dell, IBM, Unicom, CDW-G, Iron Bow and WWT.
