Northrop Grumman(NYSE: NOC) has won a potential $116.9 million contract to provide logistics support for a fleet of U.S. government-owned, fixed-wing special electronic mission aircraft.
The Army received three bids for the fixed-price incentive, firm-fixed price, cost-plus-fixed fee, cost-type contract via the internet and obligated $30 million at the time of award, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
Work will occur in Herndon, Virginia, and is scheduled to finish by Feb. 28, 2027.
The Army uses special electronic mission aircraft to collect intelligence in both peace and wartime environments, according to the military branch.
