DCS has received a $168 million contract from the U.S. Army to continue providing operational services to the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems and the Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal.
The five-year contract will extend support for programs including Project Manager Main Battle Tank Systems and other PEO GCS subordinate organizations, the company said Thursday.
DCS was chosen to perform work on PM Self Propelled Howitzer Systems, PM Mounted Armored Vehicles, PM Stryker Brigade Combat Team, PM XM30 Combat Vehicle, Project Lead Future Battle Platforms and PL Capability Transition and Product Integration.
The privately held firm will carry out its tasks in Washington, D.C., as well as the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan.
“PEO GCS is a key customer for DCS,” said DCS CEO Jim Benbow. “The broader scope of support offered under this consolidated contract will allow us to leverage our current PM MBTS support and build upon our operational support to customer priorities.”
