Sikorsky Aircraft, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has received a $387.2 million contract modification to produce additional Black Hawk helicopters for the U.S. Army.
Sikorsky will deliver 35 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters to the Army to exercise an option in a previously awarded contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The company will perform work in Stratford, Connecticut, through Dec. 31.
The UH-60M helicopter incorporates the Army’s Future Combat Systems and automated aircraft health monitoring technologies and works to support a variety of missions.
