ArmorWorks Lands $206M Air Force Payload Transporter Delivery Contract

ArmorWorks Enterprises has secured a potential five-year, $206.1M contract to supply the U.S. Air Force with payload transporters.

Hill AF Base’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Contracting Division procured the transport vehicles on a sole-source basis and obligated $31.3M in fiscal 2018 procurement funds, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Contract work will take place in Chandler, Ariz., through July 30, 2024.

ArmorWorks also offers armor, seating and protective technology platforms to the defense sector.
