Reston, Virginia-based information technology platforms provider Amyx has secured a potential five-year, $189.2 million task order from the General Services Administration to provide mission support services to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization.
GSAs federal systems integration and management center received eight bids for the cost-plus-award-fee task order that was awarded under the Pool 1 category of the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Small Business contract vehicle, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The order covers system engineering, JIDO operations support, technical assistance, acquisition and program management, logistics, mission-based research, communications and event support, analytical assistance, facilities safety, security assurance and human capital management services.
GSA will obligate $4.2 million in joint IED defeat funds at the time of award, according to DoD.
The contractor will perform work in Virginia and the National Capital Region through Jan. 17, 2022 under the task order, which is part of JIDOs Enterprise Acquisition Strategy Initiative that seeks to comply with acquisition policies and meet mission requirements.
GSA officially launched the OASIS SB vehicle in June 2014 to serve as a platform for federal agencies to procure professional services.
