The U.S. Army has awarded Amentum a one-year, $171.2 million contract modification to perform logistics work on government-owned fixed-wing transport aircraft platforms.
Army Contracting Command obligated $58.7 million at the time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance funds, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
DynCorp International, which Amentum acquired in November 2020, originally received the aircraft logistics support contract in late May 2017 with a potential total value of $795.3 million if all options are exercised.
The program encompasses primary support for the C-12, C-26 and UC-35 fleets and limited support for the T-6 military trainer aircraft.
Contract work includes program management, engineering, maintenance, modifications, field team support and other non-routine tasks.
