Alion Science and Technology will help the U.S. Navy's Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division develop integrated systems for training and simulation use as part of a five-year, $49M contract.
The company said Thursday it will support NAWCTSD in efforts to design, fabricate, modify, integrate and test live, virtual and constructive environments that include representative surface vessel or aircraft platforms.
The company will also provide support, installation and associated services to various areas in Japan and the U.S. as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Katie Selbe, senior vice president and general manager of Alion’s cyber network solutions group, said the company will work to help the the service branch address its LVC training program requirements.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also involves system installation efforts at various locations across the U.S. and in Japan.
