Alion Science and Technology has received a potential five-year, $73M task order under the Department of Defense's Information Analysis Center contract vehicle to update a technical architecture for training joint forces.
The company said Tuesday it will support the Joint Chiefs of Staff J7 directorate in research and development work on a joint training synthetic environment.
The project's goal is to create an architecture that would integrate with information management systems and help DoD transition to a unified web-based digital platform for military personnel to collaboratively plan and implement exercises.
"We are dedicated to our continued customer partnership to develop joint virtual environments to prepare for Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2)," said Katie Selbe, senior vice president and general manager of Alion's cyber network solutions group.
She added that the company has supported JTSE development programs over the past two decades.
