A joint venture between Akima's Lockwood Hills subsidiary and DTSV has landed a potential five-year, $388M contract to help the Department of State's Bureau of Consular Affairs process and adjucate visa applications.
LDRM will perform logistics, management and administrative support services at the National Visa Center in Portsmouth, N.H., and the Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg, Ky., Akima said Monday.
“The processing of U.S. visas for foreign citizens to travel to the United States is a critical mission of the Department of State,” said Don Laney, general manager of Lockwood Hills.
“We are excited to leverage our experience providing document review and processing services, as well as managing large-scale support services staff, to support this mission," Laney added.
