Hughes joined ACT I in 2000 as an executive consultant.
He continues to serve as a business and technical consultant on fighter weapons and space systems to the Air Force and intelligence community.
Hughes, a more than 40-year industry and military veteran, previously served as chairman of the board at Digital Fortress and held senior leadership positions at SunGard and Inflow.
During his 24-year military career, he served as a principal personal adviser to the Air Force undersecretary and helped lead satellite and aircraft acquisition efforts.
