Boeing (NYSE:BA) has received a potential five-year, $87.4 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide logistics services for the Combat Survivor Evader Locator System designed to aid in search and rescue of isolated military personnel.
The Air Force obligated $13.3 million at the time of award from its operations and maintenance; and research, development, test, and evaluation funds, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will occur at Boeing’s facility in Huntington Beach, California through Dec. 31, 2022.
