The U.S. Air Force has awarded 12 companies spots on a pair of contracts worth up to $925 million combined over 10 years for lifecycle support and analysis of cryptographic and information assurance platforms.
Seven firms will vie for materiel solutions analysis, technology maturation and risk reduction, engineering and manufacturing development, production and product support tasks under a potential $875 million contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
DoD added the Air Force picked five contractors to support materiel solution analysis and related efforts of the military service’s cryptologic and cyber systems division under a potential $50 million contract.
The service branch will obligate $5,000 in fiscal 2016 research, development, test, and evaluation funds to each contractor at the time of award.
Both indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts will run through Dec. 15, 2026.
