The U.S. Air Force has awarded 20 companies positions on a potential six-year, $950 million contract to provide infrastructure, supporting tools and services for the military branch’s threat radar systems and combat training ranges.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center received 20 offers for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that also includes support for joint threat emitter platforms and modernization programs of the service’s range threat systems branch, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Work will occur at Hill Air Force Base in Utah through June 22, 2027.
The service will obligate $5,000 in fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds to each vendor.
