The U.S. Air Force has awarded 17 companies positions on a potential 10-year, $7 billion contract to provide contract field team labor augmentation support services.

The Department of War said Monday the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma received 26 offers for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive acquisition process.
A total of 23 awards were made under the contract, with several companies receiving multiple contract awards.
The service is obligating $11,500 in fiscal year 2026 operations and maintenance funds and will specify performance locations in individual task orders.

What Is the Scope of the USAF CFT Labor Augmentation Support Contract?
The CFT labor augmentation support contract includes a five-year base period and one five-year option, running from February 2026 through January 2036.
According to a June 2024 solicitation, the IDIQ is intended to support government organizations by augmenting their organic maintenance capabilities with qualified contract maintenance personnel. Work will include on-site maintenance support at organizational, intermediate/field and depot-level sustainment levels at customer facilities within and outside the continental U.S.
The effort also covers maintenance, modification, inspection and repair services for fielded active weapon systems, ranging from aircraft and missile systems to engines, communications and ground support equipment.
