SparkCognition, which aims to build artificial intelligence technology platforms, has raised $100M through a Series C funding round led by March Capital Partners.
The startup said Tuesday it secured investments from John Chambers, former CEO and chairman emeritus of Cisco Systems; Barrick Gold Executive Chairman John Thornton; and Malcolm Turnbull, former prime minister of Australia.
According to SparkCognition, it has received a total of $175M from investors over the past six years.
Boeing partnered with the startup in late 2018 to build traffic routing software for unmanned aircraft systems through the use of blockchain and machine learning approaches.
The Chicago-based company’s HorizonX venture arm also participated in the recent funding round.
SparkCognition products include the DeepArmor cybersecurity platform, Deep national language processing system and Darwin automated model building technology.
