Aero Turbine has won a potential $128.8 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to overhaul J85-GE-5/-21 turbojet engine components for the U.S. Air Force.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday that Aero Turbine will perform contract work at a company facility in Stockton, California, through July 24, 2022.
The service branch received two bids for the contract through a competitive acquisition process.
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is the contracting activity and obligated $4.7 million at the time of award from the military branch’s fiscal 2017 defense working capital funds.
