AE Industrial Partners has acquired machine parts and specialty hardware manufacturer G.S. Precision for an undisclosed sum in a move to leverage the latter’s expertise in producing components for the aerospace and defense industries.
Brattleboro, Vt.-based G.S. Precision offers aftermarket and new-production components from materials such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and high-temperature nickel alloys, AEI said Tuesday.
G.S. Precision's sub-assemblies and components are designed for various applications such as aircraft, aerospace engines, fiber-optic platforms, medical equipment, automotive platforms and specialty bearing.
Its five offices are located within the U.S. and Mexico.
Norm Schneeberger, CEO of G.S. Precision, said the company expanded to over 700 employees since its establishment in 1958.
Kirkland & Ellis and PwC respectively served as legal and financial advisers to AEI. Down Rachlin Martin and Gallagher, Flynn & Company acted as G.S. Precision’s legal and financial advisers, respectively.
