Adnet Systems has received a potential five-year, $242 million contract to provide Earth and space science research-and-development services at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
The company will also provide scientific computer systems, engineer data analysis systems, develop and implement software applications, create scientific instruments and conduct science exploration research under the Space Science and Data Analysis IV contract, NASA said Wednesday.
Work also includes support for science disciplines such as astrophysics and astronomy, atmospheric science, climatology, solar and space plasma physics, oceanography, land processes and geodynamics.
SESDA IV contains a two-year base period along with options that could extend work through Sept. 30, 2022.
Bethesda, Maryland-based Adnet offers science and engineering services, information technology, management and technical support services to federal clients that include NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Transportation Department.
