Seven companies have landed spots on a potential seven-year, $169.1 million contract from the U.S. Navy to support information technology, command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific.
Contractors will compete for task orders to perform engineering, modeling and simulation, technology insertion and logistical work for NIWC Pacific’s enterprise communication and networks division, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a three-year base period valued at $68.3 million and options that would extend the duration of work through September 2028.
NIWC Pacific received 16 offers for the competitive procurement effort.
Ninety percent of work will take place in San Diego and the remaining 10 percent at contractor facilities.
