Six companies have won spots on a potential 10-year, $25.5 billion contract to help maintain the
U.S. Army ‘s aircraft and support equipment deployed primarily outside the continental U.S.
Work also covers minor modification, supply chain management and personnel support in various theaters of operation, the Defense Department said Wednesday .
The Army Contracting Command received 10 proposals for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract via the internet.
DoD noted it expects contractors to complete work by April 3, 2028.
