Amentum, AshBritt, CDM Smith, OMP Solutions, PTSI Managed Services and Weston Solutions will compete for orders under the firm-fixed-price contract, which is expected to be completed by September 2028, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The service branch originally launched the solicitation in July as part of efforts to stabilize the Puerto Rico power infrastructure. The task orders will be handled by the Army Corps of Engineers and include planning, coordination and installation of temporary generating units.
It will also involve operation and maintenance as well as collaboration with the Puerto Rico Electric and Power Authority and LUMA Energy.
USACE will finalize the work locations and funding based on individual task orders.
