Six companies have won spots on a potential $200 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide “tagging, tracking and locating” electronic equipment to military joint commands.
Contractors will vie for task orders to acquire, field and perform logistics support for TTL equipment designed with airborne and maritime tracking features, as well as facilitate training services, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The Navy received seven offers for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a full and open competition on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center’s e-Commerce Central portal and the FedBizOpps website.
The contract has a $182 million initial value over six years, followed by a six-month option period.
Each contractor will receive $4,166 from the service branch at the time of award.
