Four small businesses have won two-year, basic ordering agreements worth $100 million combined to provide a range of contingent support services to the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
The minority-owned companies will assign personnel to assist ORNL across information technology, engineering, project management, business, science and technical operations, the research laboratory said Tuesday.
IT Lab Partners, Akima Infrastructure Services, GEM Technology International Corp. and STRATA-G secured the BOAs after a competitive bidding process.
The agreements are part of ORNL’s $400 million annual commitment to increase the participation of Tennessee-based businesses in the laboratory’s research and development programs.
A University of Tennessee and Battelle joint venture manages the DOE-sponsored lab.
