Boston Consulting Group‘s federal group, Grant Thornton‘s public sector business and McKinsey & Company have secured spots on a potential $246.7 million multiple-award contract to help the Department of the Navy modernize logistics and supply chain management systems.
The three companies can compete for task orders to provide transformation support services to the Naval Sustainment System and other enterprise DON platforms, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Naval Supply Systems Command’s Fleet Logistics Center in Norfolk, Virginia, received 10 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $1,000 to cover the minimum contract value.
The five-year base ordering period has a $223.6 million ceiling and runs from September 2021 to September 2026. Contractor services would extend through March 2027 if the six-month option is exercised.
