An L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) subsidiary and two small businesses have won contracts to support post-service life extension and post-shakedown availability efforts for the U.S. Navy‘s fleet of landing craft air cushion boats.
Contractors will also provide ship maintenance, repair and modernization services to the Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
DoD noted it expects the project to finish by December 2018 and the Navy will provide $266,667 as a minimum guarantee per contract.
The branch received five offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts via an “unrestricted” procurement process on the FedBizOpps website.
