22 Firms Land Spots on $5.1B Army GTACS II Contract

    The U.S. Army has awarded 22 companies positions on the potential 10-year, $5.1B Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems II contract vehicle.

    Army Contracting Command received 24 bids for the GTACS II contract and expects work to occur through Jan. 5, 2030, the Department of Defense said Monday.

    GTACS II covers information technology services and hardware to support the development of a tactical communications network for soldiers. The vehicle also includes software and hardware engineering, program management and analysis, systems engineering and supply chain management support.
