CACI International said Wednesday it was awarded a potential $1.5 billion contract to support the U.S. Central Command and its mission partners.

What Is the Scope of the Contract?
Under the contract, referred to as Apollo, CACI will speed up how USCENTCOM plans and shares information throughout its area of responsibility, with the goal of turning raw intelligence into decisions commanders can act on even when operating in denied or contested areas. The award includes a one-year base period and four option periods.
How Does the Apollo Contract Build on CACI’s Prior Work?
CACI has spent years supporting irregular warfare work for other combatant commands. The company has also provided intelligence support to USCENTCOM for more than two decades, including through a $273 million Army task order awarded in 2024. Under that five-year task order from the Army Intelligence and Security Command, CACI provided USCENTCOM with all-source and identity intelligence, security operations, and biometric-related analysis and production support. Its analysts also supported decision-makers with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance resources and actionable analysis.
John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI and a seven-time Wash100 Award winner, said CENTCOM operates in one of the toughest regions in the world, where intelligence must move quickly from insight to action.

What Other Defense Contracts Has CACI Recently Secured?
The award adds to a string of recent CACI contracts across defense customers. In April, the company secured a potential five-year, $231 million task order from the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic to provide satellite communications support to U.S. Special Operations Command. CACI also secured a potential $113.8 million Navy contract to support the Military Sealift Command’s integrated business systems.
