The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has disclosed plans to launch a competition for a follow-on contract for integrated cybersecurity assessment and hygiene support services.

According to a notice published Wednesday on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System, CISA is preparing a follow-on procurement to replace an existing contract currently held by NTT DATA Services Federal Government. The agency indicated the new requirement will carry added scope beyond a simple recompete of the incumbent effort.
What Is the Scope of the Proposed Contract?
The proposed contract requirement would establish a single, scalable support vehicle for CISA’s vulnerability management subdivision. Work under the anticipated contract would cover technical assessments, cyber hygiene services, operational assessments, and other mission-aligned enablement activities delivered through one consolidated support structure.
The agency listed Alliant 2 as the associated contract vehicle and estimated the award’s value at over $100 million.
Performance would take place across multiple, unspecified locations. CISA anticipates releasing a solicitation around Jan. 30, 2027, with an award targeted for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 and a period of performance running through March 29, 2028.
What Other Cybersecurity Procurement Efforts Is CISA Advancing?
CISA has forecast a separate follow-on cybersecurity operations support contract, a labor-hour award worth over $100 million covering security operations center functions, penetration testing and cloud and AI security, with an award expected in fiscal 2027.
The agency has also signaled plans for a cyber technology services opportunity supporting its Office of Threat Hunting, spanning incident response, cybersecurity engineering and security operations work.
Separately, CISA has been gathering industry input on a potential $6 billion cyber tools procurement to centralize how the agency buys cybersecurity software and licenses at scale.
