Orbit Fab has appointed Peter Shaper as CEO, named retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Roger Teague and Don Rogers to its board of directors and opened its Series B funding round, the in-space refueling infrastructure company announced Tuesday.

Who Is Peter Shaper?

Shaper, who will also serve on the company’s board, is a business executive with more than 30 years of experience leading growth and operational transformation at private equity-backed companies. He will oversee Orbit Fab’s transition from foundational technology development to commercial execution.

His initial priorities include leading the final qualification and shipment of Orbit Fab’s first fully integrated refueling architecture ahead of its planned 2027 launch. He will also expand the company’s operational capabilities and strategic partnerships while advancing the deployment of its in-space refueling infrastructure.

Shaper previously held CEO roles at PosiGen, Speedcast, Twenty20 Solutions, Flo Trend, Greenwell Energy Solutions and CapRock Communications. He is also a founding partner of Genesis Park.

Who Are Roger Teague & Don Rogers?

Teague is a space industry executive with experience leading satellite programs at organizations that were later consolidated into the U.S. Space Force. He will leverage his background in national security space programs and strategic execution to help strengthen Orbit Fab’s expansion across government and commercial sectors.

Rogers is the founder and managing partner of Stride Capital Group. He has extensive experience in capital markets, working with executive teams to expand businesses, strengthen investor relationships and create sustainable long-term value. He also co-founded Rogers Investment Partners and served as partner at SkyBridge Capital and CEO of CRA Business Strategy Group.

Stride Capital led more than $25 million in interim financing for Orbit Fab, which has opened its Series B funding round to support market expansion, infrastructure deployment and customer acquisition.
