Govini Appoints Retired Air Force Logistics Leader Tom Miller as Senior Adviser

Defense software company Govini has appointed retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom Miller as a senior adviser.

In a LinkedIn post on Monday, Govini said Miller will help shape its efforts to support air readiness initiatives across the Department of War, with a focus on improving aircraft sustainment and availability. 

“Lt. Gen. Miller brings unparalleled expertise in logistics, maintenance, and supply chain management,” the company wrote. “His leadership has been instrumental in overseeing the readiness of some of the world’s most complex weapon systems.”

What Experience Does Tom Miller Bring to Govini?

Miller most recently served in the U.S. Air Force as deputy chief of staff for logistics, engineering and force protection, known as HAF/A4.

Before becoming the Air Force’s senior logistics officer, Miller was the commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center. His prior assignments also include serving as director of logistics, engineering and force protection at Air Combat Command and commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, one of the largest units in the Air Force Materiel Command.

Miller has served as a senior adviser for aerospace, defense and logistics at TDMiller since September 2025.
