Valiant Solutions Advances Cybersecurity Offerings With BreakPoint Labs Acquisition

  • Valiant Solutions is expanding its cybersecurity portfolio through the acquisition of BreakPoint Labs
  • The acquisition will bring operational technology security, DevSecOps and penetration testing capabilities to Valiant
  • BreakPoint marks Valiant’s second acquisition this year, following its purchase of Abile Group in February

Valiant Solutions has acquired BreakPoint Labs, a cybersecurity company specializing in artificial intelligence-enabled cyber operations, adversarial threat emulation and DevSecOps capabilities supporting defense and national security missions, Bluestone Investment Partners said Tuesday.

What Capabilities Does BreakPoint Labs Add?

According to Valiant, the acquisition expands its portfolio of cybersecurity technologies and services for federal and national security customers. By incorporating BreakPoint Labs’ cyber technologies, Valiant expects to strengthen its capabilities in cyber operations, operational technology security, software development, software factory enablement, cybersecurity workflow automation and advanced penetration testing.

What Did Company Leaders Say About the Deal?

Valiant Solutions CEO George Wilson, a four-time Wash100 Award winner, said government organizations increasingly require technology partners capable of integrating cyber operations, automation and engineering expertise in complex environments.

“BreakPoint Labs brings exceptional technical talent, differentiated intellectual property, and operational credibility that further strengthens Valiant’s position as a leading cybersecurity technology platform supporting critical national security priorities,” he added.

Thomas George, CEO of BreakPoint Labs, said the companies share a commitment to innovation and mission success.

How Does the BreakPoint Acquisition Fit Into Valiant’s Growth Strategy?

The BreakPoint Labs acquisition is Valiant’s second in six months. In February, the company acquired Abile Group to expand its cybersecurity and network engineering capabilities, including endpoint protection, cloud-native architectures and support for zero trust initiatives. The transactions build on Valiant’s growth strategy following Bluestone Investment Partners’ strategic investment in the company in late 2024. Together, the acquisitions broaden Valiant’s cybersecurity portfolio as the company continues to support federal customers through major contract vehicles such as the Treasury Department’s eight-year, $20 billion PROTECTS blanket purchase agreement.
