Concurrent Technologies Corp. announced that Timothy Tibbits will retire as vice president of its engineering and advanced manufacturing division on June 30 after nearly two decades with the company. Hans DeViso will succeed Tibbits in the role, CTC said Wednesday.
Who Is Tim Tibbits?
Tibbits joined CTC in 2008 as a principal technical adviser and consultant and steadily advanced through leadership roles, including executive director positions overseeing engineering, strategy and business development. In his most recent role, he led a team of more than 90 employees, including over 70 engineers, while managing a division generating approximately $35 million in annual revenue.
Before entering the private sector, Tibbits served in the U.S. Navy for more than 31 years, concluding his military career as a Washington liaison officer at U.S. Strategic Command. He also served as a naval flight officer for more than 26 years.
CTC President and CEO Ed Sheehan said Tibbits’ military, resource management, budgeting and acquisition experience helped strengthen the company’s support for Department of War customers.
Who Is Hans DeViso?
DeViso is a 20-year veteran of the aerospace and defense industry with experience spanning research and development, design, manufacturing and testing of advanced composite materials for high-temperature applications and space systems. Before joining CTC, he served as chief operating officer and vice president at Azista USA, overseeing production of composite materials and satellite technologies for aerospace missions.
He also served in various leadership positions at L3Harris Technologies, Direct Wire and Cable, Antenna Research Associates, Alta Data Technologies, BAE Systems and Leonardo DRS.
