What Is NIWC Pacific Seeking?

According to the sources sought notice published Friday on SAM.gov, the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific is conducting a Seaport NxG market survey to assess small business capabilities for providing ISEA NEN services to support its Shore Networks Branch.

The effort covers technical sustainment, sustainment engineering, logistics and modernization support, project management, configuration management, certification and accreditation, system implementation, enterprise applications support, and Tier IV support for overseas environments. Work also involves integrating, testing and maintaining IT software and hardware, including networks, servers, and commercial and government off-the-shelf systems, supporting programs such as the Global Information Grid and Naval Enterprise Network.

What Are the Details of the Proposed Contract?

NIWC Pacific anticipates awarding a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract valued between $50 million and $100 million, with a one-year base period and four one-year options. The effort, which follows a current Seaport NxG task order held by SAIC, will be conducted at NIWC Pacific, the selected contractor’s facilities, and Navy and joint Department of War shore network installation sites. Responses to the notice are due May 11.
