Palo Alto Networks has appointed Danielle Gonzalez as chief people officer. The company said Tuesday that Gonzalez will lead efforts to modernize its talent engine and foster a high-performance culture as it continues to expand its cybersecurity operations.
“Nearly seven years ago, I joined Palo Alto Networks because of my deep belief in our mission to protect our digital way of life, and the incredible team. Today, I’m honored to step into the role of chief people officer,” the executive wrote on LinkedIn. “Growing with this company has been the highlight of my career. I’ve seen firsthand how our ‘People First’ philosophy drives our business from strength to strength, especially as we navigate the rapid shifts in AI and cybersecurity together.”

Who Is Danielle Gonzalez?
Gonzalez brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience across technology companies.
She most recently served as senior vice president of the people team for go-to-market and next-generation security businesses at Palo Alto Networks, where she also oversaw global employee relations. Gonzalez joined the company in 2019 as senior director of people business partners.
Prior to Palo Alto Networks, she held HR leadership positions at TiVo, eBay, Altadevices and Rovi.
