Auria said Tuesday the addition of BCubed allows it to expand its workforce to more than 500 employees across several U.S. locations, including Colorado, Washington, D.C., Alabama, New Mexico, Utah and California.
What Does BCubed Do?
Warrenton, Virginia-based BCubed has been providing end-to-end software-defined C3 platforms for the U.S. Space Force, Special Operations Command and the U.S. intelligence community since 2015. The company’s platforms are designed to enable integrated operations across ground, space and tactical environments through digital ground systems, software-defined satellite communications and cloud-native command and control platforms.
BCubed Founder and CEO Chris Bartley said the company was established to support mission continuity from senior command levels to execution.
“Joining Auria allows us to scale our technology offerings and deliver even greater end-to-end mission impact for our customers and operators on the ground. I look forward to working with the Auria team in solving tough challenges across national security and creating greater opportunities for our employees,” Bartley added.
What Did Auria CEO Damian DiPippa Say About the BCubed Acquisition
Auria CEO Damian DiPippa, a 2026 Wash100 awardee, said the company is focused on delivering C3 platforms for complex space missions.
“BCubed enhances our ability to provide integrated, software defined capabilities that connect command authorities, ground infrastructure, and operators at the tactical edge into a single operational framework. Chris has built an outstanding business focused on embedding innovative technologies to drive mission outcomes, and we are thrilled to welcome him and the BCubed team to Auria,” added DiPippa.
What Does Auria Do?

The Colorado Springs, Colorado-based company also has operations in Washington, D.C., Alabama, New Mexico, Utah and California.
The BCubed transaction follows Auria’s recent purchases of RKF Engineering Solutions and Kythera Space Solutions to expand its satcom capabilities and software offerings.
In early 2024, private investment firm Enlightenment Capital formed Auria through the merger of its four space and national security portfolio companies: Boecore, Orbit Logic, Ascension Engineering Group and La Jolla Logic. In June 2024, DiPippa joined Auria as CEO after serving as chief executive of Aretum.
