Frank Morgan Named ARA Chief Operating Officer

Antenna Research Associates, a provider of advanced antenna and radio frequency systems for defense and industrial applications, has appointed Frank Morgan as chief operating officer.

Who Is Frank Morgan?

Morgan is a seasoned operations executive with more than three decades of experience leading defense electronics and industrial businesses, the Laurel, Maryland-based company said in a Jan. 26 press release received by GovCon Wire. He joins ARA after serving as COO at Voyager Technologies, where he helped guide the company’s growth and supported its successful 2025 public offering.

Previously, Morgan served as vice president and general manager at L3Harris Technologies and Smiths Group, where he led multi-sector business units and drove initiatives to boost operational performance and revenue growth. He also worked at CSA, ThermoFisher Scientific, and L3 Technologies earlier in his career.

What Are Frank Morgan’s Responsibilities as ARA’s New COO?

Morgan will help advance the company’s long-term growth strategy by enhancing performance and efficiency, driving scale and supporting acquisitions as ARA moves into its next phase of expansion. In his role as COO, he will lead key operational functions, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and program management, while contributing to broader integration and expansion initiatives.

“I look forward to shaping a strategy and operating model that will support ARA’s continued growth as demand for advanced C5ISR capabilities continues to accelerate across defense and national security markets,” said Morgan.

ARA CEO Logen Thiran on Morgan’s Appointment
