The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, or NAWCTSD, has issued a sources sought notice for the Navy Fielded Training Systems Support VI, or FTSS VI, program.
According to the notice posted Thursday on SAM.gov, NAWCTSD seeks potential contractors capable of providing comprehensive training systems support services for Navy and non-Navy clients. Interested vendors should have an established record of delivering simulator contractor operation and maintenance services and contractor instructional services.

The Potomac Officers Club’s 2026 Navy Summit will take place Aug. 27. Register now.
What Is the Scope of the FTSS VI Contract?
The FTSS VI contract covers fielded training systems used for initial operator and crew training, mission rehearsal and maintenance instruction, building on the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity framework established under the predecessor FTSS V contract to enable rapid and flexible task order awards. The contract provides full support for training systems through COMS and CIS to ensure they remain fully operational and mission-ready worldwide.
Contractors will supply all required personnel, materials, equipment and instructional support for simulators, training devices, classrooms and other training methods supporting aviation, surface and sub-surface customers.
What Are the Contract Details?
The Navy anticipates awarding the FTSS VI contract as a multiple-award IDIQ with an estimated value of $2.8 billion over an eight-year period, consisting of a five-year base ordering period and three option years. The effort will support an estimated 19 known follow-on task orders, with additional requirements anticipated for future COMS and CIS across Navy, Marine Corps and foreign military sales training systems. Work will be performed at training sites both within the continental U.S. and overseas. Responses are due Feb 11.
