Cherry Bekaert has acquired accounting and advisory firm Tarsus to expand outsourced accounting, real-time financial reporting and strategic chief financial officer services for clients in government contracting, technology and other regulated sectors, according to information received by GovCon Wire on Tuesday.
Cherry Bekaert is scheduled to announce the acquisition later today.
What Capabilities Does Tarsus Add to Cherry Bekaert?
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Tarsus also adds bookkeeping, key performance indicator reporting and data analytics capabilities to Cherry Bekaert. It operates additional offices in California, Missouri, and Bangalore, India.
Besides technology and GovCon, Tarsus has built a client base across staffing, private equity and professional services markets.
