V2X has expanded its board of directors from seven to 10 members with the election of three new directors.
Who Joined V2X’s Board of Directors?
According to V2X’s Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, the company appointed Nicole Theophilus, Gerard Fasano and Ross Niebergall as Class I, Class II and Class III directors, respectively.
Theophilus joined the compensation and human capital committee, Fasano was named to the audit committee and Niebergall was appointed to the nominating and governance committee, replacing Michael Widman.
Who Is Gerard Fasano?
Fasano, a five-time Wash100 Award recipient, most recently served as executive vice president and chief growth officer of Leidos. Prior to that role, he was the president of Leidos’ defense group and earlier served as the company’s chief business development and strategy officer.
Before joining Leidos, Fasano held senior leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, where he led business development and mergers and acquisitions and served as a defense group general manager.
He currently serves as a trustee of Hampton University, a consultant to Veritas Capital Fund Management and a member of Villanova University’s College of Engineering advisory board. Fasano holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Villanova.
Who Is Nicole Theophilus?
Theophilus currently serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Wabtec, a role she has held since July 2024. She was previously the company’s chief human resources officer.
Before joining Wabtec, Theophilus held senior human capital leadership roles at West Corp. and ConAgra Foods. She serves as a director of the Wabtec Foundation and chairs the board of Midwest Housing Equity. The executive holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Drake University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Who Is Ross Niebergall?
Niebergall previously served as president of the Aerojet Rocketdyne segment at L3Harris Technologies. Before that, he was L3Harris’ vice president and chief technology officer.
He joined Harris Corp. in 2017 as vice president and CTO and continued in that role following the company’s merger with L3 Technologies. Earlier in his career, Niebergall served as vice president of engineering and technology within the intelligence, information and services unit of Raytheon Technologies, now known as RTX.
Niebergall holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Regina and master’s and doctoral degrees in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
