Lloyd Cope Joins Seekr as Chief Revenue Officer

Seekr Technologies has named Lloyd Cope, an industry leader in enterprise and defense-focused artificial intelligence technologies, chief revenue officer.

In this capacity, Cope will report directly to Seekr President Rob Clark as he oversees the company’s growth initiatives, leads sales and marketing and drives go-to-market execution efforts worldwide, the company said Tuesday.

Cope Brings Experience in AI & Defense Sectors

Clark said Cope has experience aligning defense and commercial initiatives and connecting technology innovation with operational solutions for global customers.

“With extensive experience in AI and data governance and a proven ability to collaborate closely with customers, he is the ideal leader to guide Seekr’s growth trajectory and advance our mission to deliver trusted, explainable AI across critical infrastructure and government markets,” the president added.

Seekr is a Reston, Virginia-based company that provides secure, explainable AI software and hardware for mission-critical environments. The AMD Ventures portfolio company helps defense, intelligence and civilian agencies leverage their data to build and operate mission-ready large language models and agentic AI platforms.

Who Is Lloyd Cope?

Cope has over 20 years of experience in defense, enterprise and national security sectors, specializing in AI, data governance and forward deployment.

Before joining Seekr, he was managing director and global defense head at Altana AI.

The newly appointed CRO served as U.S. commercial leader and head of the commercial defense industrial business at Palantir Technologies.

He also held senior roles at Hitachi and Cloudera, where he established and led go-to-market organizations.

Cope is a U.S. Congressional and Department of Defense fellow.
