Horky announced his move to AV in a LinkedIn post published Monday.
According to his profile on the professional networking site, he will oversee business development efforts within AV’s space, cyber and directed energy business segment.
Who Is Robert Horky?
Horky has more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance industries.
Before AV, he was chief growth officer at AEVEX Aerospace, where he led the company’s growth, business development and procurement teams in defense programs, including the Phoenix Ghost unmanned tactical system.
Prior to AEVEX, he spent nearly two decades at Sierra Nevada Corp., where he contributed to programs, including the Wideband Collection Capability, the RC-135 Combat Sent Program and the ELINT receiver for the U.S. Navy’s advanced anti-radiation guided missile.
The University of Dayton computer engineering technology graduate has a master’s degree in management science from the same institution.
