Darcey will lead Anduril’s air dominance and strike team, spearheading efforts to advance massed effects technologies. In this role, he will play a key part in driving the company’s mission to deliver advanced autonomous capabilities.
Who is Brett Darcey?
Darcey is an industry veteran who spent the last four years at Shield AI, where he most recently served as technical fellow, leading autonomy strategy for jet platforms and overseeing technical direction, program development and customer engagement. He also held the roles of executive VP, head of product, VP and general manager.
Prior to that, Darcey worked at Heron Systems for 17 years. He served as VP from July 2013 to July 2021, founding and managing the product development group focused on transitioning research and development into deployable products. He was also director of operations and business development, leading the company’s R&D group. He joined Heron in 2004 as a computer programmer tasked with developing software for the E-2C program.
