Khan brings over 24 years of experience in the government and private sectors. He has deep knowledge of IT operations, application development, cloud computing, digital transformation, enterprise architecture and innovation across the federal government. In his new role, Khan is responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of artificial intelligence capabilities within Swingtech. He will oversee the designing of AI ecosystems, integration of AI into existing contracts and ensuring all AI initiatives comply with security standards. “His leadership and vision will be instrumental as we expand our AI capabilities and continue driving innovation across the enterprise,” Swingtech announced on LinkedIn.
Who Is Farhan Khan?
Khan previously served as chief digital officer at the Food and Drug Administration, overseeing the agency’s technology modernization as part of efforts to advance public health. Before that, he was the director of architecture and integration for the Senior Executive Service in the U.S. Army, serving as principal adviser to the chief information officer and other senior Army leaders on IT, business, policy and process-related issues.
The senior IT executive has held several leadership roles in federal agencies, including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Department of Transportation, and Department of Justice. He started his career as part of the IT team at George Washington University, which established and implemented standard programs for IT equipment, computer peripherals, and facility services.
